Notes:
  • Upon falling through an illusory floor in the Chasm of the Abyss, you will see Alvina appear momentarily. She will lead past giant Humanities you to an illusory wall which hides the room where Sif is trapped. Clear the room of all enemies, then go back to Sif, who will then be able to warp away. Upon doing so, he will leave behind the Cleansing Greatshield.
  • You can still free Sif and obtain the shield after defeating Manus father of the Abyss..
  • Upgrading this shield will not raise Stability, only its Attack.

Attack Power: Physical/Magic/Flame/Lightning/Critical. Unless otherwise noted, all shields deal Strike damage.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit.
Damage Reduction Rate: Reduces the Physical/Magic/Flame/Lightning/Stability damage taken in the % indicated. The last value, Stability, indicates how much force a shield can withstand before being knocked aside. The higher the Stability value is, the less stamina will be consumed when an attack is blocked. If the force of a physical attack is greater than a shield's stability value, only damage up to that value will be mitigated; the remainder will taken directly from the user's health.
Requirements/Multipliers: Strength/Dexterity/Intelligence/Faith. Divine shields scale with Intellect instead of Faith. As such there are no shields that scale with Faith.
Durability: The shield's HP; when the durability reaches critical, the effectiveness of it's attacks and blocks are severely weakened.
Weight: How much the shield weighs.
Deflection/Parry: The deflection level and parry type the shield has.
